Court 3 - RWANDA

from £12.50

We're tasting apricot, raspberry & lemongrass

Farm: Mbare, Muhanga Southern Province.

Varietal: Red Bourbon

Process: Natural

Altitude: 1700 - 2000 metres above sea level

Rwamatamu’s Women's Cooperative is known as the Tuzamurane mu Guhinga Kawacooperative, which translates from Kinyarwanda to “Let’s Uplift Each Other in Coffee Farming.” The group was started in 2020 by Mukantwaza Laeticia, co-founder of Rwamatamu, to highlight and properly reward the work of women in the local community, particularly those who had long been engaged in coffee farming.

Having heard all of this, Justin watched a game of tennis and changed the name from 'Lot 3' to 'Court 3'.

He also reckons that this is an 'omni' roast.

*This coffee was exposed to a dry anaerobic fermentation period of 72 hours with the pulp on. During this fermentation stage, dried nectarines were added. The coffee cherries were then pulped and placed to dry on raised beds until the ideal moisture content was achieved.
