The Ishurwe Women’s Group is a group of around 454 women coffee producers from the hills surrounding the Izuba washing station in Kayanza Province in Burundi. The cherries are farmed in the 3 main hills of Kigeri, Ryamukona, and Mugoyi surrounding Izuba. This coffee was imported by Raw Material. With their work in Burundi, they have achieved wage payments to processing staff at the Izuba that are 25% above all other local washing stations and 33% about the national average wage.

Welcome to the super group that is La Cumbre De Mujeres, a coming together of 5 incredible producers to create this amazing Nicaraguan espresso.
The coffee is a special blend curated by Cafetos de segovia ( a coffee exporter based in Nuevo Segovia and launched by Nicaraguan producers and sisters Martha and Ana Alvir) Made of five women producers coffees. All coffee is cupped individually and the ones making up this blend were chosen for the chocolate, nutty and mildly citrus notes, a classic clean Nicaraguan coffee.
The coffee is a celebration of the women behind it and of the heights (cumbre means summit) that their coffee can reach.
