Mariana Flores has owned and operated Finca San Luis since 2023. It was her family farm, run by her father 50 years ago as their family's livelihood, that allowed him to educate his children. Mariana became an educator in Loja, but she left that career to return home to run the farm following her father's death. Before her return, the farm was left unattended and had ceased to be productive, but she was determined to renew it by focusing on producing high-quality specialty coffee.
